How we make money

What commissions do and don't affect
- They do not affect your match scores or rankings. The engine ranks wines purely on fit to you. Commercial relationships are never an input to that calculation.
- They may affect the order of the "where to buy" buttons shown beneath a recommended wine, which we order to surface the most useful buying option first. The wine recommendation itself is independent of that ordering.
- Every paid link is clearly labeled as a sponsored partnership, both to you and to search engines, so you always know which links earn us a commission.
